I hope to unite gluten-free people in Fort Wayne, with the support of other celiacs and camaraderie of others in Fort Wayne. When I first started my gluten-free journey, I knew nobody with Celiac Disease. I only knew a couple of people who were gluten-free, but I quickly learned that it was only as a trendy thing to do, and only when it was convenient. My health depends on this. I cannot "cheat". Ever. I hope that by having a page for gluten-free people in Fort Wayne, I can eventually bring together a supportive group of local celiacs. Perhaps someday we can even have some influence in the community to increase awareness and open up more opportunities for us in grocery shopping and dining out. This page is open to all celiacs, not just locals. I want to share the resources I have found on the internet- these are all linked on sides and bottom of the blog page- and maintain a supportive community of celiacs. I welcome and encourage friends from the local area as well- celiac or not- for increased awareness, education, and networking. I am not doing this to make a profit; I am not a medical professional. Please use good judgement when following anyone's advice online.
